Software Engineering Student

I build software that starts with something that bothers me.

A campus map because the wayfinding was broken. A flashcard system because Anki frustrated me. A book tracker because Goodreads was too much. The pattern: I find a problem, and I can't leave it alone.

About

I'm a Software Engineering student who got into this because I kept finding things that bothered me and realizing I could fix them.

My first real project was a campus map because my university's wayfinding was terrible. Then a flashcard app because Anki's interface frustrated me. Then a book tracker because Goodreads was too much. The pattern is obvious in hindsight: something bothers me, I start building, and I don't stop until it works properly.

I care about understanding how things work at a level deeper than strictly necessary, not because it's always practical, but because it's satisfying. I'm early in my career, but I've shipped things that real people use. I intend to keep doing that.

Currently B.Sc. Software Engineering
Focus Full-stack development, algorithms, developer tools
Philosophy Build what bothers you. Understand it deeper than you need to.

Let's talk

I'm looking for opportunities where I can build interesting things with good people. If that's what you're hiring for, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
